Meet Emma our Billingham Practice Manager

Emma Bell has worked for Bailey Group since April 2015. She is the Practice Manager of the Billingham Office and has been in this role since 2019.

Emma is an AAT qualified Accountant currently studying towards her ACCA and has 9 years of experience in the Accountancy profession.

When joining in 2015, Emma initially was based at our Peterlee office as an Accounts Preparation Clerk. She quickly excelled in her role and now manages 7 employees in an expanding office.

In September 2018 Chris Bailey, CEO of the Bailey Group, opened the Billingham practice as a Making Tax Digital service centre to support the client demand for our innovative MTD solution.

Emma very quickly took charge of the practice turning it into a standalone office with their own clients.

Emma began her career in accountancy in 2009 as an accounts apprentice in Industry. Here Emma studied her Level 2 AAT.

Later, Emma decided to move into Practice Accounting, working at a local Accountancy firm in Hartlepool. Here she completed her Level 3 and 4 AAT qualifications.

Emma then decided to join the Bailey Group after learning about the company values and opportunities for progression and growth.

Emma’s role within the Group is to manage the Billingham Practice and to help grow the office by attracting new clients through tax saving and identifying ways in which clients can grow their businesses.
