We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded ‘Medium Firm of the Year’ at the annual North East Accountancy Awards on June 27th at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
This award comes after a period of significant growth for the Bailey Group over the past 12 months.
We started as a single practice in Peterlee in 2010 and we have recently expanded regionally with a total of 9 practices.
We employ more than 70 members of staff with the majority based in the North East.
The Bailey Group were shortlisted for two categories: ‘Medium Firm of the Year’ and ‘Tax Team of the Year.’
Following this process, the next step was attending a judging day where our nomination was discussed further and then the results to be announced on the awards evening.
The awards celebrate the best of the accountancy profession in the North East.

Moving forward the Bailey Group have also been shortlisted for the British Accountancy Awards for Mid – Tier Innovation of the Year turnover between £3-25M. Which will be held in London on 25th September 2019.
